El Día del Soldado Conscripto en Chile se celebra el 18 de mayo para reconocer a los jóvenes que realizan el Servicio Militar por vocación de servicio y cumplimiento de la ley. Esta fecha también recuerda a los 44 soldados que fallecieron en la "Tragedia de Antuco" en 2005.
