El **Día Nacional del Locutor** en Chile se celebra el **14 de abril** de cada año, desde 2017¹². Esta fecha homenajea al locutor Petronio Romo, quien falleció un 14 de abril de 2010 y fue una de las voces más icónicas de la radio chilena¹². El objetivo de este día es reconocer la labor de los locutores radiales que informan, entretienen y acompañan a la audiencia¹²³.
