El Día Nacional de los Pueblos Indígenas se celebra el **24 de junio**, desde el año 1998, cuando se declaró esta fecha como una forma de reconocer y valorar la diversidad cultural y étnica de Chile¹². Este día coincide con el solsticio de invierno, que para los pueblos originarios representa un nuevo ciclo de la vida y la naturaleza, y que celebran con rituales y ceremonias espirituales de renovación y purificación¹². ¿Conoces alguna de estas tradiciones?
